  3. This is really beautiful! Sorry about your peaches’ crash-landing, but it sounds like you whipped them back into shape. Great story-telling, but even better recipe! I can’t think of a better way to dress these up than with a cookie crust and drippy mascarpone. YUMMMZ.

  4. I just came across this recipe today even though it seems it was posted a fair number of years ago. I can’t believe ANY human has to go through the terrible misfortune of being allergic to PEACHES of all things. I thought wheat was bad. I ALMOST believe peaches would be even worse as my second favorite pie is peach pie, specifically peaches and CREAM pie. Although, I love any of them. Black Raspberry is the favorite pie but that’s not quite as easy to do all the time. You have my deepest sympathy. I look forward to giving this a try. It truly is a unique peach pie amongst the dozens and dozens I’ve seen.
